Updated: May 27

Get ready to whip up a refreshing summer snack for your furry friend with just three basic ingredients! Treat your pup to some homemade frozen yogurt delights, packed with blueberries for a burst of flavor and nutrition. These cool treats are perfect for keeping your dog chilled out during those scorching summer days!

To make these yummy frozen dog treats, you only need about 20 minutes of prep time, 32 oz of plain or vanilla yogurt, 4 oz. of baby food (either chicken or turkey) , and 1 1/2 cups of fresh or frozen blueberries.

Combine all the ingredients in a big bowl, mix thoroughly, and divide the mixture into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or even small cups. After that, place in the freezer for approximately 12 hours. When you are ready to give your fur friend a refreshing frosty treat, just pop one out of the mold, and watch him enjoy!

Fun Facts: dogs benefit blueberries just like us. Blueberries are full of antioxidants to fight free radicals and are rich in fiber and vitamins. Additionally, yogurt is also great for dogs as it has probiotics that support gut health and boost the immune system.

So be sure to treat your fur friend with these homemade frozen snacks to keep them cool in the summer while giving them a healthy boost.
